During 2008 all non-domestic buildings over 50m² constructed, sold or rented out will be required to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This includes all shops, offices, workshops, nursing homes, public houses, hotels, leisure centres etc. A Display Energy Certificate (DEC) will be required for all public buildings over 1,000m².

Only qualified and or accredited non-domestic energy assessors will be able to produce EPCs for these buildings.

Our Services

CADE (Commercial and Domestic Energy Consultants) is a specialist training and assessment company, set up to provide the best in energy assessor training. We are the commercial (non-domestic) trainers for both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP which includes NAEA, NAVA, ARLA and ICBA). We also undertake customised in house training for corporate clients.
